Romeo & Barley (part 1)
Just a quickie to let you know how Romeo is getting on.
Well, he is just perfect. Him and Barley are best friends (thank God). They play together from the moment they get up 'til to moment they go to sleep, apart from sleeps and meals during the day. They play "tag". One pokes the other in the side and runs off and the other one chases him, then they reverse it. Sometimes indoors, sometimes in the garden. Romeo can really run!!! And they really laugh, you can see their little faces laughing. They share everything, toys, food, cuddles, and are very giving to each other. They are both so full of love.
Romeo is eating really well!!!!! I don't know where he's putting it all!! Chicken, pork, fish, lots of veggies and fruit, w/w pasta and rice. He is also drinking a lot of fresh water and milk.
When we go to bed the 3 of us go up together and I always take his blanket and toys up with us. Him and Barley sleep on the wall side (so if anyone's going to fall out it will be me!) Then we play for about 20 minutes and then tuck down. All 3 of us snuggle up together - I've put 2 pillows together so that we can all be close - then we go to sleep. Romeo always wakes me up about 6am with lots of kisses on my face. I put him on his puppy pad, he has a drink of water then we have to play for about 20-30 mins. Then Romeo and Barley go off to sleep again leaving me reading!
They have just started to snuggle up together in 1 bed. Barley has a (quite big) bed in the living room that he's had since he came here where he sleeps during the day and evening while I'm watching telly. It’s right the side of me so that I can stroke him while he's going off. The last couple of nights he has allowed Romeo to get in with him and they have cuddled up and gone to sleep together. (It has a cover that I wash regularly)
I can't go anywhere without them. Even when they are asleep, I get up (very quietly) to go in the kitchen or the loo, just get outside the living room door and hear them both behind me.
Romeo is so good, he does all his pees and poos on the puppy pad and I always praise him for it.
Thank you so much Emma for my little boy, he is so much more than I ever wanted, he is perfect. And you, in my opinion, are the best breeder in the country, and a very nice lady too!
Hmmmm, did I say this was going to be a quickie? Sorry, I do go on.
Best wishes,
